Livewire – Dr. Woo „Silent Dancer“

The Livewire Silent Dancer is a unique custom design by celebrity tattoo artist Dr. Woo in collaboration with bike builder Mikey Ojeda for Harley-Davidson’s Livewire motorcycle. This eye-catching creation is the first in a series of customized bikes featured in CURRENT, a LiveWire Design Co-Op located in LA. The Silent Dancer is accompanied by a moto-themed capsule collection inspired by vintage Japanese workwear, crafted by Woo and Ojeda.

During the project, Ojeda and Dr. Woo aimed to showcase how the Livewire is breaking new ground in the electric sector while exploring innovative and sustainable solutions that could influence future chassis designs. They collaborated with various artisans and manufacturers, such as Suicide Machine Company and GoodArt Hlywd, to bring their vision to life.

The design process of the Silent Dancer is chronicled in a YouTube video series, highlighting the intricate details and craftsmanship involved. Notably, the bike features custom bodywork crafted with ampliTex, a sustainable flax fiber material by Bcomp, providing both visual appeal and environmental consciousness. Additionally, GoodArt Hlywd contributed sterling silver detail pieces, showcasing their expertise in hand-crafted elements.
