Zero – Woolie’s Workshop

Zero Motorcycles, in collaboration with Deus ex Machina’s Venice Beach location and Michael „Woolie“ Woolaway, the former US Motorcycle Director, has unveiled the first fully customized Zero Motorcycles SR/S. Woolaway, impressed by the platform after encountering Zero Motorcycles Race Team engineers at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, saw the potential to create a unique electric motorcycle using the Zero SR/S.

Working through challenging conditions during the coronavirus lockdown, Woolaway used his industry connections to design and build a one-of-a-kind electric motorcycle. The design combines old and new elements, blending traditional shapes with advanced technology. The craftsmanship involved in the fabrication is complemented by the latest technology, including carbon fiber composites and assistance from Lockheed Martin aerospace engineers for the monocoque assembly.
